Chrome ServiceWorker Cache

Has anyone tried not saving

User Data\Default\Service Worker\CacheStorage

in their chrome profiles. I've just used the uploaded chrome application config since you could download them,  with extra folders excluded except this one and I noticed for some uses this folder is a few GB.

Yes, we exclude the folder tree <LocalAppData>\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Service Worker\CacheStorage with no negative impact reported.

Looking for more suggestions to slim down this archive.

Thanks, I ended up excluding it too, and seems to be fine. Figure if deleting browser history deletes this , it should be fine. Its a few GB so saving this on logon helps.

Hi @sjesse,

Took me a second to interpret that "saving" correctly 😊

😄 sometimes proper grammar and I don't agree.  I meant not saving it, it's the majority of some of my profiles, and a few went from 2Gb down to 60-200MB.
