What OS does this happen on? I've only seen this happen on Windows 7 systems that had not received any Microsoft updates for quite a while.

Do you have the .NET Framework 3.5 feature enabled? If so, can you modify "C:\Program Files\Immidio\Flex Profiles\Flex+ Management Console.exe.config", by switching around the two <supportedRuntime version="vXYZ" /> lines?
Also, installing Windows Updates after enabling the .NET Framework 3.5 feature did the trick as well, without needing to tweak the Management Console's config file.
I've been having the same problem (Win10 1703 here) and chalked it up to the work proxy and/or filtering since it works fine at home (different PC). I swapped those two lines around on my work PC and now it's working great! Thanks!

Would you mind checking the version of C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\System.dll (or just Framework, on x86) on the system that it wasn't working on?
No problem - it's 2.0.50727.8745.
