  • 1.  windows 2k3 missing SCSI controller after running vm converter

    Hi,

    After converting a Windows 2k3 server doing P2V the VM is now missing a SCSI controller so the VM cannot Boot.

    What is the best way to resolve this? Do I need to copy drivers from the physical server?

    If the disk controller type you see in the VM's settings is IDE, take a look at http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1016192.

    Another option is to choose the controller type in the converter when it comes to hardware.
