Hi, I am planning on converting my Winodws XP pro box to a vmware virtual machine. I want to run the physical Windows XP pro as a vm on my Linux box. I run vmware workstation on the Linux box.

Is this going to be possible?

Yes, it is possible. What kind of license do you have on your XP system? If it's not a volume license, then you will have to re-activate the system after you migrate it...

I'm doing this at home so it's just an ordinary licence for the XP box.

Any documentation around other than the pdf that comes with the converter.
