Hello,
Assume that I have the following:
1 - 3 x ESX Servers with a Virtual Center.
2 - I have a physical machine named XYZ. (windows XP)
3 - I have a helper machine which has the latest vmware converter installed on it. The helper machine is a virtual machine. (windows xp)
For whatever purpose, I would like to import XYZ into the ESX Enviroment using VMware Converter once every two weeks. I would like this to be done automatically, scheduled. Is there a way? scripting ? .. can you please help me.
Best,
ahmedvienna
If I remember correctly, in the licensed version of VMWare converter you would be able to configure a task and schedule it whenever you want.

If you can tell me how. THen you will get your points. ?:|
There is no scheduling methods available through the licensed or unlicensed version of converter 3.0.2u1. However, if you have virtualcenter with the converter plugin, you can schedule an event.
How can i get the converter plugin ?
You need to have VC 2.5
can you set a re-occuring job
The theory for scheduled cold clones with converter 302u1 is done now.
Looking for some guinea pigs right now ...
