vCenter Server 5.0- What happen to the converter?

What happen to the converter in vCenter Server 5.0? It was in version 4.0/4.1. I wanted to convert Hyper-V to VMware. The standalone keeps failing.

I do not see a add-on anywhere for 5.0.

Thanks.

As of vSphere5, the Enterprise Plugin for Converter is not available.  You'll need to use the Standalone version.

The Converter has been decoupled from vCenter Server to be more flexible with updates and to maintain only one version, which is the Standalone Converter. What issues do you have with the conversion?

André.

This is the error I am getting:

Unable to obtain hardware information for the selected machine.

Thanks.

this Hyper-V VM is actually being managed by Hyper-V Manager, correct?  Or is it simply just a vhd file you're trying to convert?  Usually when you convert Hyper-V guests the converter agent will be installed on the Hyper-V Host.  If all else fails, you can convert a "Powered-on" machine, or use something like StarWind V2V Converter to convert the .vhd file into a .vmdk file.

Did you disable UAC on the source system yet (http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2000352)?
