v2p from Windows XP to any other physical machine

I've read the VMware technical doc on v2p, and I'm wondering if anyone here has actually done it with Ghost.

I have never seen and read V2P thru Ghost ....... I have done on the server with the VMDK and VMX files to another server.........

I am sure , there will be lots of complications with Windows XP as it depend alot on the hardware........... may be of any help ....
