"Session is not Authenticated" in Step 2 of convert

Using a VM that has previously been converted from an ESX environment to off line storage. Now trying to place it back up in the ESX environment using Converter. Connect using the vCenter IP, Get to step 2 Host/Resource select the server, storage and VM name and I get the error "The Session is not Authenticated". Not sure if logs are created during the configuration stage, but will look into it and post if I find something. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Oh, yes... Using latest version of converter. Maybe corrupt VM?

Thank you!

Peter

I had the same problem today. After following the advice in this thread:

http://communities.vmware.com/thread/195575

... I rebooted my computer and was wable to get through the Converter (4.0) process without the error.

Upon further investigation, it looks that the VM I was trying to Convert to the ESX infrastructure actually came from a ACE package. I'm currently trying to DeACE it and see if it can be moved up to the ESX. Stay tuned!!
