"A disk read error occurred" in VM after using Converter 3.0

I used Converter to convert my running Exchange server to a VM. Ran fine with no errors, yet when I start the VM I get A disk read error occurred, Press CtrlAltDel to restart.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Gary

An Exchange server is nothing you probably do want to migrate Hot. At a minimum you should probably stop all the Exchange services. Have you tried running Chkdsk on it? Did you change the disk sizes when you ran Converter?

Sounds like this has nothing to do with Exchange as you would of received a mid-point error. Sounds more like a reconfiguration issue or either an old version of converter. Can you attach the vmware-converter-#.log file for that task. It would be located on the machine you converted under C:\windows\temp\vmware-temp\
