hi,

this is the log of converter, i have a 2003 Server, i'm trying to do a p2v into a ESXi, but the conversion fails and the physical 2003 reboot when conversion fails

Hey Marco,

I see a lot of SSL related erros in your logs. Take a look at this - http://communities.vmware.com/thread/294494

Basically, check that the firewall / Antivirus is disabled. To troubleshoot further you may want to load the converter client directly onto your physical windows 2003 server. The agent should not be required, just specify the local machine is the source.

I would install Converter 3.0.3 inside the 2003 machine and try again

if you use 4.3 for whatever reasons make sure you order buslogic controller

Dangling SSL in many cases indicates a problem with AV / Firewall still running on the VM.

I have started seeing this issue a lot more recently with Converter 4.3.

Have you disabled these services / functions in your OS?

One day I will virtualise myself . . .

yes , i have removed McAfee and disabled all possible service that interact with conversion. No success, every time w2003 hangup and reboot.

Now last chance is to use Acronis and then converter....
