path does not exist - P2V windows 2000

Hi all,

Hows things?

Got an unsual one that cant seem to figure out. Wrecking my head now for 2 hours and due to do this converation to virtual at 1pm.

I have vmware converter 3.0.3 installed on a server, I am connecting it to a physical windows 2000 box. It connects to it fine and lists all the disks.

I am getting stuck at step 2 detination Name & Location. I enter the virtual machine name but location seems to be looking for a shared area to dump it. Maybe I have selected something wrong but I am just trying to virtulize the box and put it in our vmware environment.

I have attached screenshots showing the steps I have taken to get to the error.

Any help would be great as always.

Hi POCEH

Thanks very much for the response. I downloaded it and now have it running.

That many different versions and everywhere I looked said to use 3.0.5.

Thanks again.
