p2v and v2v Conversion.

What is the P2V and V2V Basic concept and follows steps?

Welcome to the Community - The concepts for P2V and V2V are basically the same - converter installas an agent in teh running machine which allows for the machines to be cloned to the new virtual environment - this will give you more information on the process http://www.vmware.com/pdf/convsa_50_guide.pdf

P2V = Takes Physical machine and converts it to virtual machine (IBM/HP/DELL server -> VM)

V2V = Takes virtual machine and converts it to another virtual machine of the same type (cloning) or different trype (ESX/Workstation/Server).
