Hi,
I am running winXP pro sp3 via bootcamp partition on a MacBook 2GB mem OS X Leopard (this windows runs very smoothly on bootcamp as opposed to issue I had on the mac prior to re-installing OS X).
I am considering moving only to OS X and getting rid of the dual boot need by using Vmware fusion. I thought that as a first step i'll try and capture the current installation and load it on a trial version of fusion running on the mac. Unfortunately as soon as I try to run the converter (versions 4.0.0-146302 and 2.0.0-30557) I get the following error message
"only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed."
Is this a known issue or do I have some sort of problem on my Windows installation ? is it security ? - I would be grateful for some advice on where to start looking ....
