converter failing to complete with stcbasic.sys errors

Hi everyone

I have managed to come unstuck with the new converter. I am cloning an NT4 machine on the fly and i continually come up against the same error. I have tried various things (converting to ESX/GSX/via VC) all with the same result. What I believe is the relevant part of the log file is pasted below. Does anyone know what stcbasic.sys is? This is from the vmware-converter log. Any help greatly appreciated.

The stcbasic.sys issue seems to be with Volume Shadow Copy Service.

What destination did you use? A Windows 2003 share? If so, the problem could be with Volume Shadow Copy Service.

I'd try a different destination.

Unfortunately it is failing no matter where i send it to. If I p2v to a shared drive, to ESX or to ESX via VC. All fail with the same log as below. I havent tried a 2003 machine yet, but that is beside the point as I want to clone this NT4 machine.
