XEN to VMware?

I've got a remote Xen virtual (paravirtualized), CentOS machine. I have a Windows box here and am wondering how I can image the linux machien (perhaps using converter).

Is this possible?

Try to find the vhd - and convert it with Starwinds v2v Converter.

Then add the newly created vmdk and add it to a new Centos VM.

I am afraid you will have to cross fingers during first boot ...

the ANSWER only applies to Windows guests - so it is quite useless here

Hi Diego

no problem Smiley Wink this is not about winning with the right answer - best we can do is give useful suggestions.

yep - quemu has command line tools to do this type of conversions.

I thought the Starwind tool would be easier as it is something doubleclickable Smiley Wink
