Windows xp machine converting Vmware Vsphere machine

Hi, I having physical machine which is running with Windows xp. Now, I want to convert this Windows xp machine with latest hardware.

Since Windows xp is no more supported. I want to convert this machine into Vmware vSphere and run with latest harware.

Whether it is possible ? If yes, want are softwares I need to purchase.

If you want to do a P2V you would need vSphere (https://my.vmware.com/en/web/vmware/evalcenter?p=free-esxi7) and of course software to do the migration: vCenter Converter (https://www.vmware.com/products/converter.html)
