Why does machine migration result in incomplete Windows install?

I am using Converter 3.0 to convert a machine from GSX 3.0 to VM Infrastructure Ent 3. I have used this app to convert about 10 other machines, but this one machine is causing us issues. The migration seems to proceed without errors, but when we start it up on the ESX server, the machine is missing installed apps and settings. There is no domain membership and the directory structure is incomplete. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you happen to resize the destination VM's disks? This method does a file based copy.

I would attempt the conversion again, but without resizing the disks. That way a block level copy would occur. Keep in mind, you'll need the total space available on your datastore.

Try selecting the entire disk (disk-based) rather than individual volumes (volume-based) import. This will preserve everything.
