Where can I find the cold clone CD?

Hi !!!!

I have an aging Windows NT Workstation 4.0, running on a Pentium III. I need to migrate it to virtual.

I've browsing throuht the site, and can't find where to download the cold clone CD.

Help is appreciated.

Follow the steps on this link and you must have an enterprise (plus) license of VMware to be able to download this.

I'will try your suggestion. I don't have access to the Vsphere licence, but might ask help to the people that administer it.

Thanks for the information. As you might have noticed I need to do a P2V for an aging Pentium III, running windows NT 4.0.

Asside from the cold clone CD, What else can I use to migrate that workstation?

Linux LiveCDs can be used for the imaging part a la

dd if=/dev/sda of=/networkshare/import-flat.vmdk

For the flat.vmdk you then have to create a vmdk-descriptorfile.

Then you create a new VM and attach the imported vmdk.
For the driverpatching part of the P2V I would suggest to use Converter 3.0.3 - that is also deprecated but can still be downloaded from the internet
