Vmware converter 4.0 install failed

Hi,

French SBS2003 with converter 4.0 failed to install with runtime error C++ when the converter-server.exe start.

Same problem with installation stand alone or client-server

path TEMP-TMP = c:\TEMP with no english caracters (KB 1001639)

No error in vminst.log

I tried to install vmware-converter-3.0.3-89816.exe and it worked!

I will go on with the convert and tell you the result.

Conversion worked just fine with the older converter!

Perhaps an issue with version 4.0 and SBS?
