VSS error - Windows 2003 conversion

Hello Folks ,

I am trying to do a P2V using stand alone converter but I am getting following errors.

Unable to create a VSS snapshot of the source volume(s). Error code: 2147549183 (0x8000FFFF).

I have tried following steps . still no Luck

=> Nt backup is working fine

=> No unallocated space in hard disk

=> Defragmentation done

=> Chkdsk done

=> Installed the convertor locally on the system and tried the conversion still no luck.

=> followed steps under - Error message when you run the "vssadmin list writers" command on a Windows Server 2003-b...

Any help is much appreciated .

Followed the above KB article still no luck .

Even cold migration is failing at  1 %.with general error.
