VMware Vcenter Converter 5.0.0 for VMware 3.5

Hi,

Is it possible to convert a physical machine using VMware Vcenter Converter 5.0.0 on a Virtual Machine Server with VMware 3.5?

VMware Vcenter Converter 5.0.0 is installed on the physical machine (Windows XP SP2).

When launching the conversion from the physical machine to the virtual server I have the following message "A specified parameter was not correct. info.owner"

I've revised all the parameters and it looks they are the correct ones. I have not more information about the error.

Is it not possible to find more information about the error?

We're indentify at least one situation where this issue arrives - the computer name and user name are equal, look at other threads about this. HTH

Both user and computer names were the same. Changing one of them the problem got solved, and now the convertion has started.

I had this problem when I logged in with the user "Administrator" in the pc where is intalled vmware converter, I changed user and now all works correctly
