VMware Converter and Red Hat Linux Release 9

Hi everyone !

I am trying to p2v a Red Hat Linux Release 9 server with VMware converter 5.0 but nothing works (impossible to retrieve source informations).

I checked the compatibility list in the converter (5.0 and 4.0) documentation but did not saw the distribution (but who knows...).

Does anyone had the chance to convert (hot or cold) this distribution or it is realy hopeless ?

have you enabled root ssh access to the source machine?

Yes ssh with root account is enable.

I can connect to the server using putty with root account or even using an sftp client.

I attached a log file where i get errors.

Some are related to ssh "thumbprint" but it seems that ssh connection finaly works, client can probe disks but fail somehow...
