VMware Converter 3.0 for product usage

I want to sell the P2V service to the customer. I think the VMware Converter 3.0 is more powerfull than 2.1, but I don't know wether the VMware Converter 3.0 can be used in the production ?

I know that you can't sell the product, but I would imagine you could sell "conversion services".

Yes, we want to sell the service to the customer. I am choosing the tool to use the 2.1 or 3.0.

So my concern is whether I can use the 3.0 for business usage in the production.

According to the EULA, you "may use the Software to provide services to third parties to migrate the disk contents of physical computers, VMware virtual machines and supported 3rd party disk images to the disk contents of Virtual Machines" using Converter. You may not leave a copy for your customer as the use constitutes a license agreement and is not transferable.

I would take that as a "Yes" that you can perform the P2V migrations for customers, but you cannot "give" them they software.
