VMware Convert SCSI lsilogic for HP DL380 G5

We are having problems converting an HP DL380 G5 server with Win 2003 Ent Server. I think it's because the SCSI controller is set as BusLogic. Is there any way from VMware converter to make it lsilogic? By default it is BusLogic. After powering on the VM it just stops with a general error.

Thanks

so you have done the conversion but need to get the correct controller setup?

Converter should have done it already, but you can run configure machine again.

If you edit settings of the virtual machine settings, you can change the SCSI Controller from Bus to LSI.

what is the general error you are getting?

Nope - Converter 'should' pick LSIlogic for 2k3 but it uses BUSlogic. Thats a known 'bug' ???

Continuum is correct. Converter will always push out resulting VMs with buslogic regardless of the OS. However, the next release of converter is said to allow the option to choose buslogic or lsilogic.
