VMWare Converter doesn't seem to want to convert Windows Server 2008 OS

Hi there,

When I try to convert a Windows 2008 Server box (the one I've just set up is Standard 32 Bit with SP2) it returns the error 'Unable To Determine Guest OS' I have got hold of the log and attached the exported text below.

The virtual host is a Dell PowerEdge 2950 Quad Core with 900GB RAID 1. Any help appreciated!

Hi James,

Welcome to the forums.

You can't use Converter 3.0.3 to convert a Windows 2008. You have to use Converter 4.x.
