V2V and RAW Disk

I recently performed a V2V and migrated both the VM (to another host) and Raw Disk associated with the VM to another storage DataStore LUN. All was fine.....took a long time but it worked.

I am about to perform another V2V with a VM that has a RAW disk associated with it but this time on the same LUN on which the VM disks resides... will be void of all other VMs (all migrated elsewhere) leaving it with a capacity that will exceed its O/S vDisk and the converted RAW to VMDK disk.

So, here's the question: can I V2V to the same LUN? Will the RAW disk still convert? Or, must I actually perform the V2V and migrate the RAW disk to a totally different LUN?
