I tried numerous time converting a Windows 2000 Server (standard edition) last night and kept receiving the message, "unknown error returned by Vmware Converter (build 39557) Agent." It'll get to 97-99% complete and then fail with the previous message. I was able to convert this machine about 3 weeks ago for testing purposes, I removed the agent after the 1st conversion so I wouldnt' think that would be a problem.
