i have a backup of a vm and i am attempting to add the files to VC using converter but i get the error above
i have attached the converter log to this post. This is a screenshot of the error
it complains about parsing for OS info

thanks for the reply, thats exactly what i did yesterday revisited the boot.ini and upon closer inspection found a missing [
someone has edited the boot.ini on a previous occasion :smileyangry: , didnt spot the missing character before.
seems windows was quite happy to boot still but converter was getting quite lost, P2V nows continues OK.
