Static IP address won't stick in VMware converter

I have an IBM server I'm trying to P2V. I've created a Converter boot CD from clonecold.iso. I'm trying to enter the IP address of the source server. However, I'm unable to as whatever entry I put in is defaulted back to 0.0.0.0. I'm using VMware Converter 3.0.3 Build 89816 via BOOT CD.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

just curious - which LiveCD do you use ? - LiveXP, MOA .... ?

it is normal that the IP is set to DHCP - if you do not want that use a netsh script on first boot of the VM after p2v

But why doesn't the manual entry stick? The NIC is recognized, but just can't add a manual entry.
