Slow convertion

Hello,

On a full GB network, we can convert at 9MB/s !! (Thanks rriva ;o))

I don't resize the disk to be at a block level.

My ESX and the target physcal server are on the same GB switch (all forced in 1000 Full)

Do you mean 9 MB/s or really 9 GB/s ?

Are you doing this hot or cold? If doing it cold make sure the speed and duplex is set correctly from within the PE environment.

I'm doing a cold virtualization and yes the PE is wel forced in 1000 Full

If you look at the pshisical Switch status port, at which speed the two NICs are connected ?

The 2 ports are connetced at 1000 Full...

Does somebody know the normal (or maximum) speed for a cold virtualisation on GB LAN/ FC SAN ?
