If you have a physical server that has been converted to a virtual machine and you purchased an OEM license with the server, do you loose that license and now have to acquire a separate license for the new virtual machine once it is converted?
yes, since the OEM is attached to the hardware. You could try to do a repair on the OS and add in a Volume License Key.
