Does the enterprise version have a scheduler ? I am thinking of using it to backup some gsx images I am running.
If not are there any other methods of backing up these images ?

The plug-in for VMware VirtualCenter can schedule a task. Basically, follow the Import Machine wizard and there is a step for scheduling the task.
Otherwise, you'd need to look at the p2vtool.exe .... this might help in explaining how to use the tool.
