RHEL 4: Unable to query the live Linux source machine

Hello all,

I am trying to convert an old Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 machine using the standalone converter. User is root, SSH login works, shell is /bin/bash, firewall has been turned off for this task and there are no drives mounted more than once.

Upon starting the conversion, I get the message "Unable to query the live Linux source machine" at the top. The logs are attached here.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Unfortunately, since Converter 6.3, RHEL 4 and 5 cannot be converted anymore due to updated 3rd party components for security reasons. For the same reasons versions older than 6.3 are removed from downloads. If you can find 6.2 or an older version from somewhere, it should work.

Regards,

Plamen
