Problems with Converting MS W2k3 Server with MS Cluster onto ESX

Hi all,

We are currently converting our complete productive environment which runs on HP Blades into Vmware. The OS of these systems is Windows 2003 Enterprise Server and most Servers are running with MS Cluster.

The converting takes place from one domain to a new domain with different IP addresses and different SAN storage for the quorum. However, when the converting finishes (successfully) and the new quroum is manually set up at the new location, the VM has still its old Cluster settings (Cluster name, node name, shared resources, etc) in place, hence the Cluster cannot be started.

Does VMWare provide a Whitepaper on how to convert physical MS Servers with Cluster running, so that all resources of the physical cluster can be transferred into the newly converted VM Cluster? (E.g. keep the cluster resources, but rename Cluster name and cluster nodes).

Every help would be greatly appreciated!
