P2V of Linux host running out of inodes

Hi,

Long time reader, first time discussion starter.

I was doing a P2V yesterday for a Red Hat system.  We have a filesystem, which has lots of tiny files in it.  During the conversion process, the progress indicator halted, so I logged in to the helper and started digging.  The mounted filesystem at /mnt/p2v-src-root/<mount>/ was out of inodes.  I can't find a way to specify the amount of inodes allocated, or block size, etc, while setting up the P2V task.  VMware support doesn't know if it can be changed.

Have any of you run in to this issue? If so how did you get around it?  We have some ideas but we would prefer converter to be an end-to-end process for the P2V.

Thanks.
