P2V and Win to Ubuntu

Hi,

I want to migrate form Windows to Ubuntu. So I want to convert my physical machine, windows XP SP2, to a virtual machine, with VM Converter. I'v created a virtual machine by swelecting "2. workstation 5.x, VMware server1.x, player1.x," option, so I can read it with de VMReader (last vertion) in Ubuntu. When (in Ubuntu) I open the referd Virtual Macihn I guet the error "VMware Player unrecoverable error: (vcpu-0) Failed to allocate page for guest RAM!" . I send in attach the log files of my trys.

What went wrong?

You have this two settings in the vmx-file

memsize = 2048

numvcpus = 2

I'd first change to one CPU and then reduce the RAM as your host apparently doesn't have enough
