Is it possible to virtualize an existing Windows 2003 SQL cluster? We have a legacy app running Windows 2003 Enterprise and is a 2 node cluster with the shared disks residing on a SAN. I would like to virtualize it to get if off of it's ancient hardware. Unfortunately it's medical software used for reference, so retiring the app isn't an option. Neither is really reconfiguring the cluster itself, as the company who made the application is no longer around. I thought about just shutting down one node and then P2V the running node. But I wasn't sure how to config the second node when it's P2V'd for sharing the disks. The destination is a VxRail cluster running vSphere 6.7 and vSAN.
