P2V Converter 5.5 Permissions Error

Hello,

I am getting the "Permission to perform this operation was denied" on a number of servers we are trying to move. We are decommissioning an old datacenter and are V2V a number of the servers to the new location. Pretty standard, I have done this number of times for different clients. This is the first time ever I have gotten this error.

Points:

I am a domain admin
I have admin rights to all VMware equipment
I am running Converter 5.5 Build 1362012
I am running Converter as "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" when launching the application
I have tried from different Windows servers running Converter with same results
Other VMs on the same ESXi Hosts have migrated fine
ESXi Hosts are 4.1 & VMs are hardware 7
Guest OS of Sources is Windows 2008 R2

This issue has me stumped. Typically the answers online have directed me to one of the points listed above which has been addressed or doesnt need to be.

Listed below is the WORKER LOG for today. I have removed the IP Address of the server and my domain\user name account for security reasons. The rest has been untouched.

If you convert Vista+ you need to be local administrator on source machine and UAC must be disabled too.

I am a domain admin. I have local administrator rights to all the servers on the network. The servers we are currently trying to V2V are Windows 2008 R2.

Are you sure there are no more errors or warnings in the log file?

The SSLVerifyException is something that usually does not indicate a real error. Apart from that I don't see any issue in this snippet, including the permissions error.

I need the converter-worker log. You post log segment which is useless. If you want you could send me a log as PM.

However you can check https://communities.vmware.com/message/2354597#2354597 this could be your case ... (wild guess).
