P2V Conversion process taking long time at "creating snapshot of the source system"

Hi,

While P2V conversion process, at "creating snapshot of the source system" state, taking long time almost 2hours. The Physical server has connected FC Luns, we were trying to convert all LUNs to Thin disk..

Does any one have an idea on this??

we dont know which Converter you use
we dont know which OS you want to P2V
we dont know anything about the size of the LUNs

we dont know what the target is

you ask for ideas ?

using VMware Converter, OS 2K3, 1TB FC LUN

I would run Converter 3.0.3   against the C: drive only
then in a second step robocopy the 1TB LUN
