Migrating Old linux inside Esxi|

Hello guys

this is my first post , so thanks for the answesr of my question

actually i am trying to migrate a Linux Server that has running a program that is based with postgresql and php in a Suse Linux . this pc phisical is very old 6 years

So I use vmware vconverter to make the process that also runs well but when the SO starts it appears this message

Error loading operating system

I was reading and ok i undestand this server use IDE DISK and the Esxi supports SCSI , so what to do in this case ???

Welcome to the community.

Which version of Converter are you using?

I suggesto to use the last version of VMware Standalone Converter or try with the 5.0 beta.

I doubt that any Converter supports a 6 year old Suse

Prepare yourself for doing it manually.
You may have to boot into a Linux LiveCD and then adjust fstab and maybe rebuild the initrd
