Migrate diskless systems?

Can Converter Enterprise be used to migrate diskless, boot from SAN, Windows 2000 systems?

Any known traps or pitfalls?

As long as the OS on the source machine can see the attached disks when using the hot cloning, it should be able to create a VM and new .vmdk file(s).

The cold clone boot CD may or may not see the disks depending on what drivers are present.

Great, thanks for the information. I've since learned that these servers are domain controllers. Does that change the answer? Can hot migrations be done on Windows 2000 domain controllers?

Domain controllers can be converted. However, many of the users in this forum advocate that it is more convenient to build a new virtual domain controller and promote that rather than using Converter/p2v.
