Linux conversion fails at 97% "no BIOS boot partition"

Hi!

I'm hoping someone can help me out with the error im getting with vcenter converter 6.0. I'm trying to convert a physical Redhat 7.9, but always get the same error at 97%:

FAILED: An error occurred during the conversion: 'GrubInstaller::InstallGrub: /usr/lib/vmware-converter/installGrub.sh failed with return code: 1, and message: Installing for i386-pc platform. grub2-install: warning: this GPT partition label contains no BIOS Boot Partition; embedding won't be possible.

grub2-install: warning: Embedding is not possible. GRUB can only be installed in this setup by using blocklists. However, blocklists are UNRELIABLE and their use is discouraged.. grub2-install: error: will not proceed with blocklists.

Ive tried this numerous times, but cant figure out what is going wrong. I have noticed that converter splits /boot to its own vdisk, and I think the problem is that /boot is not being recognised as a bootable partition.

Does anyone have a clue on how to get this sorted? Its driving me crazy. I have registered for the new beta program in the hope that v6.3 can somehow magically sort this out :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thanks in advance!

Just a quick update. A newer version of vmware converter has fixed the issue.
