Is convert needed?

Hello Supporters

I want to move an offline SLES 10 VM Installation installed on VM Workstation 5.5 for Windows

to a VM Server 1.0 Installation on Linux.

Is there an need of conversation with vmware Converter or can I simply move al the files?

You should be able to copy/move all the files. You may need to change some permissions once you get things moved to make sure things work correctly...

You just need to move them. Converter is only needed when relocating a VM from a hosted product (Workstation/Server) to ESX Server or vice versa.
