Has anyone converted physical server to a VM and during conversion increased the disk size. I want to convert our datastorage server which has a 200GB drive for users storage. During conversion (since we are running low on disk space) I want to increase this drive to 600GB.
Block size set to 4mb, and i have 4 GB datastorage on SAN each 650GB, with 1TB free space. Have 7 ESX 3.0.1 servers with 17VM.
I was also told to watch for the boot.ini, The physical server I want to convert boot.ini is as follows:

I have been told I have a hidden system partition and sometimes during conversion this does not resolve itself and the VM will Blue screen.
I just wanted feed back to see if anyone has experience the same issue.
