Imported VirtualServer VM SCSI controller set as BusLogic?

I just did my first successful import of a VM that was running on a VirtualServer server to a VM on an ESX 3.0 Server. The VM is a Windows 2003 Standard server. When looking at the settings I noticed the SCSI controller was set to BusLogic rather than LSI Logic. Any reason why the VM Importer (I used 2.0 beta 3) set the controller that way? The VM does boot properly, but I was just curious if this is the norm, or if I should change it to LSI Logic.

You probably shouldn't need to change it. The controller type may be changed based on the disk adapter type (you may have seen a prompt asking you if you want to do this when you first powered on the host). The VM will boot regardless of whether you change the controller type or not.

Thanks gautam. I didn't receive any prompt about the SCSI controller type (I know what message you mean, I have seen that in the past). Plus since VMware Tools installed without a hitch, I'm not really worried about it.

FWIW, I'm doing all my W2K3 P2V's with buslogic - I have trouble to boot BartPE when using LSI in my virtual machines.

Got a few production servers running with the vmware provided buslogic driver, and it works perfectly, no problems whatsoever.
