Hot clone Linux (Suse 9)

Is there a way to hot clone a Linux box (Suse 9)?

I tried with VMware Converter (3.0.2.599994). I get error message: "Unable to connect... The remote host is not accessible using Microsoft Network Services"

Is there any "Linux Agent" to install?

Thanks in advance

VMware Converter 3 does not support "hot-clone" of Linux. What I'd suggest is you can install SuSE in the VM and then use the "netcat" and "dd" commands in Linux to transfer the data. Do a search in Google for some examples. You may need some testing to make it work for the drivers and stuff.

Hot clone will not work unless against a windows machine. Try with the Enterprise bootCD.
