Hot Migrating of MS Virtual Server VMs?

Hi,

I know we can migrate our MS Virtual Server 2005 R2 VMs cold by importing the machines.

But is it supported to hot migrate thoses machines?

So, can I install the Converter in the MS VM (after uninstalling MS Tools, of course ) and migrate the machines while they are running?

Yes, hot cloning works. In fact, sometimes cold cloning fails so I'm forced to hot clone.

Yes, hot cloning is just like the MSVS VM is a physical machine. You are correct that it is best to uninstall the MS tools because leaving them in the new VM can sometimes cause performance problems.
