I'm on my desktop at home and trying to convert it to a VM so that I can confure it for use in a test lab that I'm building. In the lab, I'll be using a N Computing L300 thin client device that will point to a VSpace server which will be installed on the VM that I converted. I converted the machine with no problems, then when attempting to install VSpace it informed me it needed Windows 7 Professional to work. My desktop was Win 7 Home Premium, so the VSpace thing didn't work. I upgrade to Win 7 Ultimate and blew away my Win 7 Home VM. Now when I go to convert my Win 7 Ultimate to a VM, it fails at validation giving me "general system error: unknown error occurred" Has anyone out there seen this problem before? If so, what do I need to do to fix it? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg
