Error conversion linux RHEL 5

Hi,

I've a converted a RHEL 5 host (HP model) with Virtual converter 4 boot CD.

I would to create a VM for VSphere 5 environment.

On ESXi v.5, I execute vmkfstools on the vmdk file and I I create a VM from this new vmdk file.

When I power up this VM, I receive some errors like "Unable to access resume device (LABEL=SW-cciss/c0d0p2) and "Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init".

More details are shown on the screenshots that is reported below.

Is there qany solution to this problem?

How could I resolve it?

Thanks a lot

Hi.

I have the same problem. I used 5.5 without any luck. After trying everything I could find on this I have ended up opening a ticket with support.

Hopefully I will soon have an answer.
