Enterprise Converter Plug-in - error when try to run consolidation

Error

A general system error occured: Not initialized: vim.host.CpuPackage[] cpuPkg

OK

-

Appears when I try and start the consolidation and click on ' Analyse physical computers for consolidation'

Click OK

and the Analise window opens (displays the domains) however does not show a list of physical servers to select for anaylisis. Have set up correct accounts to 'intergigate' clients with.

The tool worked originally prior to download of the Enterprise edition. Any pointers to resolve greatfully received!

Did your VC crash at one point in the past? If so, I have seen this before and you will need to re-install guided consolidation.

1) Open Services under Administrative Tools in Control panel and shutdown the VMware VirtualCenter service.

2) Open Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Capacity Planner for Virtual Center

3) Edit your VirtualCenter database and delete all the data in the following tables (DO NOT REMOVE THE TABLES):

- VPX_CSL_SYSTEM_PERF

- VPX_CSL_SYSTEM_IP_ADDRESS

- VPX_CSL_SYSTEM_DEVICE

- VPX_CSL_SYSTEM

- VPX_CSL_DOMAIN

- VPX_CSL_DISCOVERY

- VPX_CSL_CREDENTIAL

- VPX_CSL_COLLECTION_SYSTEM

- VPX_CSL_COLLECTION_SYSTEM

- VPX_CSL_COLLECTION

4) Open the VirtualCenter 2.5 install CD or zip file, locate the VPX directory and install Capacity Planner

5) Reboot the machine

6) Set the CP for VC service to start as DOMAIN\administrator
